The Pace Has Slowed...

In case you haven't heard... we fired our General Contractor..
It may be awhile before I post again..
I'm left with sub-contracting out the hard stuff (mainly drywall),
concrete(back sun-room & driveway) ,flooring and cabinets.

I plan to do a lot of work myself, so it could be a slow go..
I am shooting to have the drywall installed and primed by the end of June.

DAY 26 & 27

If you are into plumbing... these should excite you..
The end of the insulation upstairs...I promise.. no more insulation or plumbing shots.
The rear Sunroom roof went on today.. the picture makes it look smaller than it really is.. it's 15' x 16'

That's all for now.. the weather should be a bit better this week.. no rain and slightly warmer temps.

DAY 25 - INSULATION AND A LITTLE PLUMBING

THE INSULATION WENT IN TODAY... AT LEAST SOME OF IT..




THE PLUMBING WAS MODIFIED TO ACCOMMODATE THE RECENT DECISION TO ADD ANOTHER FULL BATH UPSTAIRS.
THAT'S ALL FOR NOW..

DAY 24

The bath/shower was placed today and some additional electric installed.
This is the opening for a pocket door into the upstairs bath.
Angled doorway to downstairs half bath.
We now have a door.

DAY 23

Little Electric work done today...

I picked up the upstairs bath/shower today.. it will have to be in place by tomorrow.
Panel in place but "Where's the Wires?"
The front door was delivered late in the day.. too late to install.

DAY 22 -- IT'S BEEN WET...

It's been really rainy... like a lot of rain , so not much is happening..They did get the form poured for the sunroom corner support.
This one was added near the corner of the house.. more is better...

DAY 21 - 10 DAYS BEHIND SCHEDULE

The builder is about 10 days behind because of all the bad weather.
Still making progress. They did manage to finish a few interior walls,do some clean-up and work on the stairs.
The steps were roughed in today.

DAY 20 - SHINGLES ARE ON!

DAY - 19 Shingles

It's shingle time...

This upper part of the roof is done. the lower part will be completed tomorrow.

DAY 17 & 18 -

Front windows are in... tyvek is on...

The felt is on the roof.. no more leaks!!
This is the back.. we still will have a new roof extending off of this wall to cover the patio.
